A photographer from the local paper is upgrading his laptop and he wants your advice regarding how he can send his pictures to the news desk effectively from either home (where he has broadband) or on location (maybe through his smartphone). Suggest the technology that can be used and describe how it works.

Different ways to send files from your desktop to your new desktop could be through email or hotmail - these are some steps you can take :

step 1: if you already have an email, you wont have to do this.

1) first log on or make a hotmail count on www.live.com/login

2)fill in the nessasary data if your making an account, after this find the botton that says 'i accept'

step 2 : From here you send an email to the news des using the little attachment button that looks like a paper clip.

Or, to send the file off your phone , it is the same as your home computer - just download the needed app, in order for you to the app, you will need to be able to access the internet.

to access the internetm, you can us eeither 3G, or Wi-fi.

For 3G you would have to have a mobile devise which is in a contract for you too have  3G, if you dont have 3G then  you have to use Wi-fi.

To do this you go to the internet on your phone through Wi-fi or 3G.
