D1 - Evaluate the effectiveness of the features described in P2. Learners should compare similar features on a range of devices and present conclusions in a clear and logical manner. Ensure you find positives and negatives for each feature.

: IPhone I would recomend a Iphone 5 rather that a Nokia because Iphone are faster at loading  and tend to be more better appearing, also some of the apps are better to understand by the logo than it would be on a Nokia.The negatives of having an Iphone is that the screen shatters easily if you drop it - and it wouldnt be recomended for younger ages. Also Iphones tend to be more expensive than nokia's, IPhones go from price from £176.99-£515.99 but nokias go from price ranges of £14.99-£200.

Eventhough Nokia's are cheaper, the cheaper nokia's dont have as much as IPhone suh as camera, music; games, most nokia's tend to have the same game but the name of snake but there fore Iphones have thousands of apps which you can download, also t has internet access and can take pictures also with a front camera.
Iphones have better advantages that Nokia's - and are more fun.
The screen size of a a IPhone is larger than a Nokia becuase IPhones tend to have more apps so a larger screen would make it easier to use; also internet connection is bette and faster on an IPhone than a Nokia.

UNIT 14 P4

A photographer from the local paper is upgrading his laptop and he wants your advice regarding how he can send his pictures to the news desk effectively from either home (where he has broadband) or on location (maybe through his smartphone). Suggest the technology that can be used and describe how it works.

Different ways to send files from your desktop to your new desktop could be through email or hotmail - these are some steps you can take :

step 1: if you already have an email, you wont have to do this.

1) first log on or make a hotmail count on www.live.com/login

2)fill in the nessasary data if your making an account, after this find the botton that says 'i accept'

step 2 : From here you send an email to the news des using the little attachment button that looks like a paper clip.

Or, to send the file off your phone , it is the same as your home computer - just download the needed app, in order for you to the app, you will need to be able to access the internet.

to access the internetm, you can us eeither 3G, or Wi-fi.

For 3G you would have to have a mobile devise which is in a contract for you too have  3G, if you dont have 3G then  you have to use Wi-fi.

To do this you go to the internet on your phone through Wi-fi or 3G.

Student who need a mobile phones with Internet access

• I would recommend a IPhone 4s because iphones are great for Internet access and easy to use also  you can download things like facebook, twitter, tumblr, google, navigator e.c.t. Also this phone is good for social life when messaging and calling and also what's app an they are not that expensive for students but it would be cheaper on  contract because you would be paying monthly.

Self employed builder who is new to technology and has £600 to spend on a laptop for invoicing

• The  is good because it is not that expensive and has windows 8 operation system, also it is smart, strong and fast. Its also dark so it wont be to out there for builders who are stereotypically manly. It is only £439.99 !!!

Journalist who needs a electronic tablet when on location

• A Blackberry Playbook 7'' Tablet is really good because it has a 64GB memory which will last a very long time and it is nery easy to use, has a menue so you find whatever you like, you can also downaod apps. It is also 10mm thin ! also it has a unigue level of security; it is only £199.00 !!!!!!

A factory worker who wants to listen to an MP3 player on the bus

• An Apple IPod touch it very good because whilat your listening to your music you can be going on the internet, downloading games and it has 16GB, with this much memory you can have 4000 songs, and you can imessage and factime people from all round the world. Also with a Retina  display its grgraphic and texture is very rich and a smooth detail; it is only £159.99 !!!!!
